Homework, projects, essays, exams ... I'm so done with school!! I need to feel the sand in my feet and have a mojito. Hopefully next week I'll be relaxing (perhaps not by the sea) but definitely elsewhere ... far from school. I know it's just spring break but it got me thinking ... soon it will be summer and I'll be (partially) free to party and wear beautiful bikini's while lying on the beach ... already dreaming about it.

All I can think of right now is the whole week I'm gonna spend lying on the bed eating junk and watching corny movies. Hope you're all having a great time.

PD. Have you noticed that beaches are the main sight of crime fashions?

Tareas, proyectos, ensayos, exámenes... estoy cansada de la escuela!!! Necesito sentir la arena bajo mis pies y beber un mojito. Afortunadamente la próxima semana esatré relajándome (posiblemente no en la playa) ciertamente muy lejos de la escuela. Ya sé que solo son las vacaciones de semana santa pero me he puesto a pensar... antes de que lo sepamos será verano y seré (parcialmente) libre para divertirme y usar un hermoso bikini mientras estoy tirada en la arena... todo el día sueño al respecto.

Ahora solo puedo pensar en la semana que voy a pasar tirada en el sillón comiendo basura y viendo películas cursis. Espero que todos se la estén pasando de maravilla.

Por cierto ... ¿han notado que es en las playas donde se cometen peores crímenes contra la moda?

Pink Blush

I love March there' something annoyingly beautiful in a month when you can tell by the weather winter is gone but spring is not here yet. It's like waking up from a long, quiet night and slowly giving in and enjoying the morning light.

It's one of my favorite times to watch people, their faces and attitude reflects the change in the nature and of course this can be seen in the way they slowly give up their coats and star wearing colorful sandals paired with light fabrics. The enviroment is so inspiring the light, the color, the people, the smell of the soil!! Plain awesome... Hopefully you're enjoying it as much as I do.

In moments like this all I want is wearing flowers in my wavy hair taking of my shoes and walking through the grass. And to do so why not trying the new Coach Collection so full of pastel colors and youthful prints!

Me encanta Marzo hay algo terriblemente molesto en un mes en que se sabe que el invierno ha terminado pero la primavera no ha empezado aún. Es como despertar del letargo de una noche larga y callada y lentamente incorporarse a la luz de la mañana.

En esta época del año me encanta observar a la gente y como en sus rostros se puede se refleja el cambio de estación. Me parece inspirador como lentamente los abrigos van desapareciendo para dar lugar a coloridas sandalias y telas ligeras. El ambiente es maravilloso la luz, los colores, la gente el olor de la tierra!!! Espero que lo estén disfrutando tanto como yo ;)...

En momentos como este me gustaría adornar con todo tipo de flores mi cabello ondulado, quitarme los zapatos y caminar por el pasto. Y por alguna razón la nueva Colección de Coach parece estar en sintonía conmigo tan llena de colores pastel y estampados juveniles!! Perfetca para la primavera.

There's something about impresionism that can take you to this warm place where the cool breeze sorrounds you and the light is plain beautiful. Monet's work has awlways been specially inspiring to me, there's certain optimism in his paintings and it's in times like these when there's nothing better than feeling this awesome positive energy.

Sometimes pastel colors and teh right attitude are all it takes to make a difference. Hopefully you to will be feeling the cool breeze flowing through the trees.

Hay algo en las pinturas impresionistas que siempre me recordó el clima cálido y las tardes lelnas de luz y brisa fresca. Monet en especial me ha parecido especialmente inspirador a lo largo de mi vida, hay cierto optimismo que recorre su obra y en momentos como estos no hay nada mejor que esa clase de energía positiva.

A veces un poco de colores pastel y un cambio de actitud hacen toda la diferencia. Espero que todos estén sintiendo la brisa fresca a través del follaje de lo árboles.

I've always wondered what did Octavio paz means when he writes "The least flower among the flowers" talking about the camellia. And I can't help but wonder if Coco Chanel would have agreed. This expression has been running through my mind for years now and although the meaning may not be as deep it has inspired continously as all of Paz's work.

Siempre me he preguntado que quería decir Octavio Paz al escribir "La menos flor entre las flores" refiriéndose a las camelias. No puedo evitar preguntarme si Coco Chanel hubiera estado de acuerdo. La expresión ha vivido en mi mente por muchos años y aunque posiblemente el significado no tenga mayor relevancia me ha inspirado continuamente como el trabajo de Paz.

I'm really sorry about the lack of ideas in this blog. I know I have been (barely) posting and uploading images rather than writing. I don't know if any of you are  interested in reading my rants at all. It's almost Valentine's Day and I'm somewhat excited I still don't know what I'll be doing on Saturday but I'm definitively looking forward to it. My mood its mostly pink and I hope yours is too. I guess by now you must have noticed that I am totally obsessed with yummy desserts, cookies and candies which is why I made the following set at polyvore with the main objective of sharing my sugar-minded mood.
